The title says it all January continued in the same vain as the end of 2015. Regular storms and brief days of good weather. We also had some serious temperature fluctuations so the snow just started to build then wham it was 10 C plus and raining and it was all gone again.

And here a a couple of a quick Splitboard Tour I did with a friend Craig on Beinn an Doithaidh Bridge of Orchy on a rare nice day.
December continued as November had. The odd snatched day between the storms and rain. Things have been very mild this early season. We did manage a couple of early ski tours this was in the Ben Lawers area in Early December.
Have a great Christmas and a Snowy New Year.
The odd day snatched from the weather was the norm this autumn. Very little good early conditions so we just had to make the most of the odd good day. Here we are on a Corbett above Glen Lochay.
During a quiet spell Sheila and I took the opportunity to walk up a Corbett on Mull which we can se from the house we’ve been meaning to do it for years. A quick ferry across and we walked from the boat. Lovely day.
We had some lovely days in September and some great autumnal walks. Here was a super day on Cruachan:
